About the Guest
Dr. "Coach Pete" (as he is commonly referred to) is a worldwide leader in character and sport. He is the Head of Leadership and character Development at the prestigious IMG Academy. Pete comes from a Paciorek family of 11 members of MLB organizations. As a sports coach of 30 years, Pete has taken sports to the next level with his passion for character development through the pursuit of athletic excellence, having helped 1,000s of athletes in their holistic development.
Prior to his leading role at IMG Academy, Pete has been a professional athlete, college and high school head coach, director of athletics, director of fundraising, and founder and executive director of his non-profit organization, Character Loves Company, which is making a significant impact in the lives of youth. Pete was named the 2022 “Champions for Character in Sport” from the renowned Character.org for his leadership and vision for Character Loves Company. Coach Pete earned a Doctorate in Education (Ed.D.) in Character Education & Servant Leadership from the University of Missouri, St. Louis, and he has two master’s degrees in organizational communication and leadership & sports management (University of Florida). He is on the Advisory Board for the University of Florida's Institute for Coaching Excellence (ICE).
